Sorin aukio disruptions

De­tour Rou­tes du­ring the Eu­ro­pean Bas­ket­ball Cham­pions­hip

Due to the European Basketball Championship, there are street closures around Nokia Arena that affect bus routes. Buses 2, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 26, 27, 40, 42, 95, and 103 will operate on detour routes during the following times:

  • Friday 29 August, 18:30–00:00
  • Saturday 30 August, 12:00–00:00
  • Monday 1 September, 18:00–00:00
  • Wednesday 3 September, 18:30–00:00

These times have changed from the original plan. Because the changes were made on short notice, bus schedule and route information may not be updated in journey planners, stop displays, or onboard route screens.

Construction Work on Vuolteenkatu

Due to ongoing construction on Vuolteenkatu, stops Sorin aukio C and D are closed until early September 2025.

Alternative stops:

  • Buses 2, 6, 7, 8 and 40: Koskipuisto (Hatanpään valtatie) or Yliopisto (Kalevantie, university)
  • Buses 11, 13, 26, 27 and 103: Ratina (Vuolteenkatu, shopping center)
