Service calendar

Public transport services will be reduced on weekdays during the Christmas holiday period for cost-saving reasons.

There are less service on the following routes: 1-26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 36, 40, 42, 48, 50, 55, 70, 71, 73, 74, 79B, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85 and 90X, on these weekdays:

• Monday–Tuesday, 22-23 December
• Monday–Wednesday, 29-31 December
• Friday, 2 January
• Monday, 5 January

The service will not be reduced on routes 60, 95 and 97.

Service break

The following bus routes will not operate on 22 December 2025 – 6 January 2026:

• Tampere: 27, 28, 31, 33, 34 Tesoma - Lielahti, 35, 90 Eerolansuora/Aitolahdentie, 91, 92 and 93.
• Pirkkala: 31 and 39.
• Kangasala: 41, 43U, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D and 49.
• Lempäälä: 52, 56, 57, 59 and 63.
• Vesilahti: 55 Narva - Vesilahti.
• Valkeakoski: 44, 63 and 66, as well as some departures on routes 67 and 69U.
• Nokia: 72, 76, 77, 77X, 78, 78X and 79A. The additional schoolday service on route 70 will not operate.
• Ylöjärvi: 86, 86X and 87U. The additional schoolday service on route 85 will not operate.
• Orivesi: 96.

Weekends and public holidays

Normal service will be provided on Saturdays and Sundays. Detailed day-by-day information for public holidays can be found in the service calendar.

• Saturday schedules until 13:00: Route 97A Orivesi
• Sunday schedules until 16:00: Routes 1-26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 40, 42, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 79B, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85 and 90X.
• Adjusted service approximately from 16:00 to 20:00: Routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80Y. Route exceptions:
  • Route 4: Länsi-Hervanta - Keskustori.
  • Route 40: Kangasala, keskusta - Tampere, Keskustori.
  • Route 70: Nokia, railway station - Tampere, Keskustori.

Timetables for Christmas Eve

Adjusted service approximately from 11:00 to 19:00 only routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.

Route exceptions:

• Route 4: Länsi-Hervanta - Keskustori.
• Route 8: only 8A Haukiluoma - Keskustori - Levonmäki.
• Route 40: Kangasala, keskusta - Tampere, Keskustori.
• Route 70: Nokia, railway station - Tampere, Keskustori.

Timetables for Christmas Day

 

Sunday schedules: Routes 1-26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 40, 42, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 79B, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, 90X and 97.

Friday night service: Routes 2-10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80Y.

Timetables for Boxing Day

On New Year’s Eve, Wednesday 31 December 2025, weekday timetables will apply.
Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.

On New Year’s Day, Thursday 1 January 2026, Sunday timetables will apply.

We are operating according to the Saturday timetable.

School routes are suspended in the following areas:

• Pirkkala: 39
• Kangasala: 43U, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49
• Lempäälä: 56, 57, 59, and 63
• Valkeakoski: 44, 63, and 66, as well as some departures on routes 67 and 69U
• Nokia: 77, 77X, 78, and 78X. The additional schoolday service on route 70 will not operate.
• Ylöjärvi: 86, 86X, and 87U. The additional schoolday service on route 85 will not operate.

Daylight saving time begins early on Sunday, 29 March 2026. Clocks will be moved forward by one hour at 3:00 a.m., directly to 4:00 a.m.

• Tram line 3 will operate as normal during the early morning hours.
• Some early morning bus services may be cancelled. More detailed information will be published closer to the date.

Maundy Thursday: 2 April 2026
School bus 66 will not operate. Bus 67 will operate only partially. Schoolday services on routes 70 and 85 will not run.

Good Friday: 3 April 2026
Services will follow the Sunday timetable. Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.

Saturday: 4 April 2026
Services will follow the Saturday timetable.

Easter Sunday and Easter Monday: Sunday 5 April and Monday 6 April
Services will follow the Sunday timetable.

May Day Eve: Thursday 30 April 2026

• Services will follow weekday timetables.
• Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.

May Day: Friday 1 May 2026
