Service calendar

Services will operate according to the Saturday timetable.

Due to May Day events, there will be no public transport on Hämeenkatu from 11:00 to 16:00. The events will also effect bus routes in Hämeenpuisto. The diversion routes and timetables in use can be found in the Nysse Journey Planner and timetables.

Detour routes

• Tram 1: In the west Lentävänniemi – Pyynikintori, in the east Kauppi Campus and Kaleva Church.
• Tram 3: Hervanta – Tulli.
• Buses 4, 7, 8 and 10: Pyynikintori – Kaakinmaa – Eteläpuisto – Ratinanranta – Sorin aukio (buses 7 and 8) / Viinikka (buses 4 and 10)
• Bus 30: Pyynikintori – Kaakinmaa – Eteläpuisto – Ratinanranta – Hatanpää
• Buses 2 and 14: Särkäniemi – Amuri (Kortelahdenkatu) – Kaakinmaa – Ratinanranta – Sorin aukio (bus 2) / Viinikka (bus 14)
• Buses 40 and 90: starting point and terminus at Sorin aukio E (Suvantokatu). Bus 90 runs via Rautatienkatu.
• Buses 5, 12, 32 and 50: starting point and terminus at Sorin aukio G (Hatanpään valtatie)
• Buses 70, 80 and 82 operate in the west as far as Pyynikintori.

Services will begin returning to normal from 16:00 onwards, provided that Hämeenkatu is available.

Closed stops

• Closed tram stops: Tuulensuu, Keskustori, Koskipuisto, Sorin aukio and Railway Station.
• Closed bus stops: Metso, Aleksanterin kirkko, Näsinpuisto, Hämeenpuisto, Tuulensuu, Keskustori, Koskipuisto, Railway Station C and D (Hämeenkatu), and Sorin aukio F (Hatanpään valtatie).

Services will follow the Sunday timetable.

The summer season starts on Monday, June 1, 2026, and ends on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

• Timetables will be adjusted to match summer demand.
• Routes intended for students and schoolchildren will be paused.

Only a few routes will be affected by changes.

Summer season 2026

We operate according to Sunday timetables.

• Lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 run throughout the holiday.
• Other lines stop on Midsummer Eve around 16:00 and resume on Sunday, 21 June.

Note: Line 8B does not operate on Midsummer Day. Lines 4, 70, and 80 will follow special timetables on quiet-period routes:
