Route 26 will operate via Epilä instead of Ranta-Kaarila starting from 10 March 2026. The change is due to road damage on Kaarilankatu near the Rahola Allotment Garden.

The repair work is expected to continue until late April. The construction work has been delayed. The route will return to normal as soon as the street is safe for traffic again.

Because of the detour route, all stops between Kaarila and Haapalinna will be skipped: Puisto-Kaarila, Vaakkolampi, Siirtolapuutarha, Ojustenkatu, Ranta-Kaarila, Simolankatu, Pispan lähitori, Mattilankatu/Hutikonpolku and Peurankatu. Replacement service cannot be provided, as there is no suitable turning area for buses in the area.

On the detour route, the stops in use are Kaarila, Winterin alue, Winterin mutka, Epilä and Haapalinna. The updated timetables will be added to the Nysse Journey Planner as soon as possible.
