Passenger numbers on Nysse tram and bus services will be higher than usual on Tuesday 8 September 2026. Tram 1 and bus routes 2 and 14 may become crowded during the morning and afternoon.

The highest passenger volumes are expected on services travelling:

• towards Tampere city centre and Särkänniemi between 09:00 and 11:30
• away from the city centre between 13:00 and 15:30

Additional services have been added to route 2 between Keskustori and Särkänniemi during the busiest travel periods. Timetables are available in the Nysse Journey Planner.

The higher than usual passenger numbers are due to Tampere's Särkänniemi Day for school pupils, which will be attended by more than 2,000 pupils from across Tampere. Most participants will travel to and from the event by public transport.
