Daylight Saving Time Ends – Effects on Night Public Transport
Wednesday 22. October 2025 klo 10.15
Daylight saving time ends during the night between Saturday and Sunday, 26 October 2025, at 4:00. At that time, clocks will be turned back one hour to 3:00. This change has minor effects on night-time public transport services.
Tram Line 3 Operates Throughout the Night
Tram line 3 operates throughout the night between the city centre and Hervanta. Departures between 3:00–4:00 will run twice: first according to daylight saving time, and then again according to standard time.
Night Break in Bus Services
Bus lines 4–10, 40, 50, 70 and 80Y will operate their night services between 3:00–4:00 only once, based on daylight saving time. During the first hour of standard time (3:00–4:00), no bus departures will run.
Please note the following exceptions:
- Line 7: The 3:55 departure from Tesoma to Linnainmaa will not run according to daylight saving time. It will depart at 4:00 standard time.
- Line 30: The 3:55 departure from Pyynikintori to Pirkkala will not run according to daylight saving time. It will depart at 4:00 standard time.
- Line 103: The 3:40 departure from Tampere to the airport will not run according to daylight saving time. It will depart at 3:40 standard time.
Otherwise, morning services will begin as usual on Sunday at 4:00. Timetables are available in the Nysse Journey Planner.
