Reduced Nysse service during the Christmas holidays – check the timetables in the journey planner

Public transport services will be reduced for cost-saving reasons during the Christmas holiday period from December 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026. There will be fewer services than usual on weekdays during the holiday period on lines 1–26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 36, 40, 42, 48, 50, 55, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 79B, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, 90X, 95, and 97.
The following buses will not operate between December 22, 2025, and January 6, 2026:
- lines 27, 28, 31, 31, 33, 34 (Tesoma–Lielahti), 35, 39, 41, 43U, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49, 52, 55 (Narva–Vesilahti), 56, 57, 59, 63, 63, 66, 67 (some services), 69U (some services), 70 (additional services on school days), 72, 76, 77, 77X, 78, 78X, 79A, 85 (additional services on school days), 86, 86X, 87U, 90 (Eerolansuora/Aitolahdentie), 91, 92, 93, 96.
Normal service on weekends.

Christmas Eve, 24 December, 2025
Saturday timetables until approximately 1 pm: Line 97A.
Sunday timetables until around 4 pm.
Adjusted service from around 4 pm to 8 pm: Only lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
Please note the routes of the following lines:
- Line 4: Länsi-Hervanta - Keskustori.
- Line 40: Kangasala, center - Tampere, Keskustori.
- Line 70: Nokia, railway station - Tampere, Keskustori.
Christmas Day, 25 December 2025
On Christmas Day, only lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y will be in service.
Please note the routes of the following lines:
- Lines 4 Länsi-Hervanta – Keskustori
- Line 8 will only run 8A services to Levonmäki
- Line 40 Kangasala, center – Tampere, Keskustori
- Line 70 Nokia, railway station – Tampere, Keskustori.
Boxing Day, 26 December 2025
Lines 1–26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 40, 42, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 79B, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, 90X and 97 will operate according to the Sunday timetable.
Lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80Y will have additional night services.
New Year's Eve
On Wednesday, 31 December 2025, daytime services will be reduced.
Lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80Y will have additional night services.
New Year's Day
On Thursday, 1 January 2026, Sunday timetables will be in effect.
Epiphany 6 January 2026
On Tuesday, 6 January 2026, Sunday timetables will be in effect.

As there are many changes to transport services during the Christmas season due to public holidays and reduced services, it is recommended that you check the timetables in advance using Nysse's services.
