Route 7 will be diverted via Sammonkatu in the Kalevanrinne area from Wednesday 4 November 2026 due to construction work on Takojankatu. The diversion is expected to remain in place until the evening of Friday 13 November 2026.

Between the university and Hakametsä, the route will run via Kalevantie–Kaupinkatu–Sammonkatu–Sarvijaakonkatu–Rieväkatu. In the opposite direction, the route will run in reverse order.

Temporary stops will be in use on Kaupinkatu, and on Sammonkatu near the Uintikeskus tram stop:

• Kaupinkatu: Kaupinkatu (9949 and 9950)
• Sammonkatu: Uintikeskus (4505 and 4506)

During the diversion, route 7 will not serve the Tarkonpuisto (4000 and 4001) and Kalevankangas (4002) stops on Kalevantie or the Takojankatu (4510 and 4513) stops on Takojankatu.
