Line 82 will move to a new route from 1 June 2026. In Ylöjärvi, the route will run via the junction of Pallotie and Vaasantie. This will improve connections from Metsäkylä and Elovainio towards Tampere.

Pallotie is located between the Ylöjärvi Ice Hall and Vaasantie. The new route includes the following stops:

• Towards Metsäkylä: Urheilutalo 6052, Ylöjärven lukio 6054 ja Pallotie 6102 
• Towards Tampere: Pallotie 6103

At the same time, line 82 will no longer serve the Urkonmäki area, where service will continue with line 84.
