Strike to affect Nysse bus traffic

Last update 6.3.2023: the strike has ended, bus service is back to normal.

The bus staff strike has ended. Bus service has gradually returned to normal from Saturday, March 4. Some shifts were still missing during the weekend but the bus traffic has been normal from Monday, March 6.

The strike included Länsilinjat, Paunu, Pirkanmaa Tilausliikenne and Pohjolan Liikenne. Lines 2, 7, 8, 17, 28, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 47, 58, 60, 63-67, 82, 86, 95X, 95KUTSU and 103 operated by TKL, Valkeakosken Liikenne and Vekka Group were normally operated. Lines 6, 12, 39A and 41 operated the shifts driven by TKL.

The strike warning affecting trams is cancelled. A strike concerning train traffic is still possible, but it has been postponed by two weeks. The earliest it can start on March 20, 2023.

All the shifts cancelled due to the strike have been returned to the Journey Planner. The disruption info on Twitter was not available for cancelled shifts during the strike. The function will be returned on Monday, March 6 at the earliest.
