Route 21 is on a diversion route in Ryydynpohja between 22 and 26 June 2026 due to roadworks. The diversion runs via Teivaalantie and Kukkolankatu.

All stops on Ryydynkatu are not served by the route. Stop Kukkolankatu 1054 is also not served, and temporary replacement stop Kukkolankatu 9922 will be located on Kukkolankatu after the Lintulamminkatu junction.

Walking distances to the closed stops:

• Ritalankatu (1058/1059) - Ryydynpohja (1071): 5 min / 350 m towards Teivaalantie
• Viholankuja and Viholankatu (1056/1057) - Kukkolankatu (1055/9922): 5 min / 300 m towards Hiedanranta

Additionally, stops Vilhelminkatu 1051 and Teivaalantie 30 will be served by the route.
