Tram service frequency reduced and feeder bus timetables updated

Tuesday, 14 April 2026 at 09:00

Tram lines 1 and 3 will begin operating at 7.5minute intervals on weekdays instead of the previous 6minute intervals as of Monday, 20 April 2026. At the same time, the timetables of feeder bus lines 15–18, 21, 22, 41 and 81 will be adjusted to align with the new tram service.

Each feeder bus service will continue to offer a connection to the tram network. However, due to the reduced frequency of tram services, not every tram service will have connections to all feeder bus lines.

After the change, tram lines will operate at a maximum of 8 services per hour. During the peak periods of the winter season, services ran as frequently as 10 per hour, but as the cycling season begins, passenger demand decreases and service frequency will be reduced accordingly.

The new timetables for tram and feeder bus lines can be found in the Nysse Journey Planner and timetable listings. Timetable posters at stops will be replaced toward the end of week 16.
