Service changes will take effect on school buses 39 and 48 on 2 March 2026. On line 39 in Pirkkala, the changes concern only afternoon schedules, while on line 48 in Kangasala, updates have also been made to the routes.

Changes to line 39

New afternoon departures from Sankila on line 39 will be at 15:40 and 16:40. The current departures at 16:05 and 17:00 will be discontinued. The schedule adjustments better support the needs of pupils at Kirkonkylä School.

Changes to line 48

The changes to line 48 aim to improve service functionality and cost-efficiency:

• Line 48C: The first morning departure will move from Pohja to Kuhmalahti due to low passenger numbers. Shortening the route reduces operating costs. The service will depart from Kuhmalahti towards Kangasala at 06:58.
• Line 48D: In the afternoon, the route will no longer operate via Tiihala. The area will be served from 14:00 onwards by route 43U. This change shortens travel time towards Sahalahti and Kuhmalahti. As part of the adjustment, the departure from Pikkola on route 48D will be moved from 13:05 to 13:12.
