Tram stops Sorin aukio A and B are closed from 1 to 8 June 2026. Tram line 3 will operate only as far as Koskipuisto during this period.

From Koskipuisto, it is approximately a 500–600 metre walk to Sorin aukio (about 7 minutes). From line 3, you can continue directly to Sorin aukio by transferring

• to bus line 2 or 6 at Tulli area
• to bus line 7 at Hakametsä
• to bus line 6 at Sammonaukio.

Please allow some extra time when making a transfer.

Timetables

Nysse’s summer season also begins on 1 June. The temporary arrangement for tram line 3 does not affect the timetables at Koskipuisto or the operation of tram line 1. Summer timetables are available in the Nysse Journey Planner and timetables when you select a date within the summer season.

Traffic arrangements and routes at Sorin Aukio

The closure of the Sorin Aukio tram stop is due to electrification work on a tramway switch on Hatanpää valtatie. The works do not affect bus routes in the area. More information about the works and routes around Sorin Aukio is available on the Tampere Tramway website (only in Finnish).
