Thursday, 30. Julyta 2026 klo 08.15
Nysse will switch to winter timetables on Wednesday 5 August 2026. Additional commuter and school bus services will return from their summer break, and service changes will be implemented in several areas. The most significant route changes will take place in Nokia and Northern Tampere.
As the northern underpass on Itsenäisyydenkatu remains closed, line 29 will be split into two different bus lines (29A Ojala – Kyttälä – Lamminpää and 29B Ojala – Kyttälä – Pyynikintori) to maintain service levels on the busiest sections of the route. Lines 6, 42 and 90 will continue to operate via Yliopistokatu, and line 29 via Tammela and Armonkallio.
Other service changes
In Pirkkala, the terminus of line 30 will move from Kyösti to Turri, improving connections to the growing Soukonlahti residential area.
On line 31, the section between Tampereen valtatie and Lahdenperänkatu will be operated via Lempääläntie instead of Hatanpään valtatie.
Saturday services on line 35 (Mäyränmäki–Keskustori) will continue.
On line 60 between Valkeakoski and Tampere, additional services will be added during weekday peak hours.
In Ylöjärvi, line 82 (Metsäkylä–Keskustori) will continue to operate via Pallotie.
On lines 84 (Takamaa–Soppeenmäki) and 85 (Kuru–Soppeenmäki), the service introduced during the summer season will continue; there will be no service at weekends.
The planning and organisation of service on Orivesi line 96 will be transferred from Nysse to Orivesi City.
Services on airport bus line 103 will cease on 4 August 2026 as part of budgetary adjustment measures.
A new school bus service, line 109, will commence between Kaukajärvi and Hervanta. The service is open to all passengers travelling with Nysse tickets.
Route changes in Nokia and Northern Tampere
In Nokia, services are being increased in areas where passenger numbers are rising. Services between Tampere and Nokia city centre are being increased, and there will also be several direct connections for travel within Nokia.
Two bus lines will operate between Tampere and Nokia city centre: line 70 (Harjuniitty – Nokia station – Tampere, Keskustori) and the new line 72 (Sammalisto – Ketolanmäki – Nokian Kartanonranta – Nokia station – Tampere, Keskustori). Both run daily at 30-minute intervals.
• Local transport in Nokia will be served by lines 71 (Tesoma – Välimaa – Ilkan alue – Nokia station) and 79 (Siuro – Linnavuori – Nokia station – Kankaantaka – Koskenmäki – Ketolanmäki). These lines offer connections to lines 70 and 72, as well as to the train.
• School bus lines 77 (Tottijärvi – Sammalisto – Nokia station) and 78 (Tottijärvi – Sarkola – Nokia station) operate in the outer areas of Nokia.
There are ongoing roadworks in the centre of Nokia and in Linnavuori, which are affecting services. More information >
