Route change from 5 August 2026: The northern underpass on Itsenäisyydenkatu will remain closed. Route 29 will continue to operate via Tammela and Armonkallio.
As the diversion has significantly increased the length of the route, resulting in higher journey times and operating costs, the service will be split into two routes:
- 29A Ojala – Kyttälä – Lamminpää (current route)
- 29B Ojala – Kyttälä – Pyynikintori
This change will ensure that the busiest sections of the route continue to receive an adequate level of service.
