Detour route starting on 10 March 2025: Line 16 is on a detour route on Huhmarinkatu. Several stops are closed in Irjala. The reason for this is the construction site on Irjalankatu, which is expected to last until December 2025.

Schedule change on 20 October 2025: Tram lines 1 and 3 will begin operating at 6-minute intervals on weekdays, including in the morning and at midday. The most frequent service will begin at 7 a.m., while previously it has only been in use from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. At the same time, the schedules for connection lines 15–18, 21, 22, 41, and 81 will be adjusted to fit the new service on tram 1.
