Winter season August 8, 2022 - June 5, 2023

Nyssen's winter season starts on Monday, August 8, 2022 and ends on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Some route changes have been made to some of the bus lines and the service offering has been revised. Decisions about the winter season service have been made at the Tampere Region Public Transport Board on January 26, 2022.

Lines 39, 44 and 47, which were on summer break, will return to traffic as soon as the season starts. Lines 37, 37X, 46, 46J, 49, 56U, 57U, 67, 75U, 85U, 86, 86X, 87U and 96U, which are tailored for schoolchildren, will not start their service until elementary schools start on August 10, 2022.

The service during peak hours has been improved on lines 33, 35 and 38. The service of bus line 10 on Sundays has also been improved. The supply has been reduced based on the number of passengers on lines 12 and 37. On line 37, the schedules planned for the needs of school children will be operated as before.

The timetables can be found in Nysse's Journey Planner and timetable service. Timetables are not available in pre-printed form, but if necessary, you can print them yourself from Nysse's website or request them for a fee from Nysse's customer service (€1/timetable per line).

Route changes

The route of lines 9 and 19 will move from Hämeenpuisto to Pyynikintori and Sepänkatu when the tram works are completed in the area. There will be stops on Sepänkatu called Savilinna.

The route of line 15A changes between Peltolammi and Vihilahti. The route will run through Lakalaiva and Taatala. The change will improve schoolchildren's connections from South Tampere to the Taatala office in Hatanpää Secondary School. The route of line 15B remains the same.

The route of line 16 changes as section Hakametsä - Tays - Kauppi campus is off. The route will run from Takahuhti through Irjala to Kauppi campus (Tays Central Hospital) with the current operating offer. The Kauppi campus has a connection to the tram 1.

The route section Ruutana - Suinula - Perälä will be excluded from line 28. The change will improve the scheduling certainty of line 28. The replacement connection from Ruutana to Suinula is on line 46.

The Pirkkala terminus of lines 30 and 31 will move from Nuoliala to Partola. In this way, Härmälä and Pere have a better connection to Partola's services.

The new line 32 will start operating between Tays Central Hospital and Hakametsä. The route goes around the entire Tays area, starting from the Arvo building to the main building, continuing through Kissanmaa, Uusikylä, Huikas and Takahuhti school to Messukylä and further to Hakametsä. There is an connection to tram 3 in Hakametsä. The line runs every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday.

The route of line 41 will continue from the center of Kangasala to Mobilia. The change will improve Huutijärvi's public transport connections. Line 40B only runs to Huutijärvi and Mobilia on weekends.

Line 40D starts on the route Mobilia - Tiihala - Huutijärvi - Kangasala - Tampere. Line 40C has been operating between Kangasala station, Metsäkulma, Tursola and the center of Kangasala since summer season 2022.

The routes of lines 50 and 52A will change in Lempäälä. The departure station and terminus of line 50 is in Lempäälä. Line 52A continues to Haurala. Line 52B will continue to operate to Laasonportti as before.

The route of line 58 changes. The bus offers better connections to the work area of Lempäälä Ideapark during everyday peak hours. New route: Hervanta - Orivedenkatu - Tieteenkatu - Hervannan valtaväylä - Ruskonkehä - Sääksjärvi - Tampereentie - Kuljuntie - Helsingintie - Areenakatu - Kalliokummuntie - Marjamäentie - Ideaparkinkatu - Ideapark

The Tampere terminus of lines 72 and 82 will move from Tuulensuu to Pyynikintori. The lines run through Sepänkatu instead of Hämeenpuisto.

Nysse will serve with Friday's timetables. Compared to normal Thursdays, there is more night service on lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70Y, 80B and 80Y.

Autumn holiday for primary schools October 17-23, 2022

Bus lines 37, 37X, 39, 39A, 44, 44A, 44B, 46, 46J, 47, 49, 56U, 57U, 67 (part of the service), 75U, 85U, 86, 86X, 87U, 96U will not operate.


End of daylight saving time October 30, 2022

Daylight saving time ends and clocks are turned one hour back on the night between Saturday and Sunday, October 30st. at 04.00 a.m. (back to 03.00 a.m.).

  • Tram 3 will operate the departures at 03 - 04 a.m. both on daylight saving time and after the clocks are moved.
  • Buses 8, 40, 50 and 70Y will operate the departures at 03 - 04 a.m. only on daylight saving time. The departures will not be operated again after the clocks have been turned.
  • Buses 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 will operate the departures at 03-04 a.m. only after the clocks have been turned. Thus, the departures will not be run during summer time 03-04.

All Saint's Day November 5, 2022

Nysse operates by Saturday schedules.


Independence day, December 6, 2022

Nysse will serve on Monday, December 5, 2022 with Friday's timetables. Compared to a normal Monday, there is more night service on lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70Y, 80B and 80Y.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, we will serve with Sunday schedules. The events of Independence Day will not affect public transport routes.

 


Christmas break for primary schools, December 23, 2022 - January 8, 2023

Bus lines 37, 37X, 39, 39A, 44, 44A, 44B, 46, 46J, 47, 49, 56U, 57U, 67 (part of the service), 75U, 85U, 86, 86X, 87U ja 96U will not operate.


Christmas, December 24-26, 2022

On Christmas Eve we will serve Sunday schedules until around 4 p.m.

  • The exception is line 42, which will not operate.
  • Lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10 (Kaukajärvi - Keskustori), 14 (Lamminpää - Ratina), 40, 50, 60, 70Y and 80Y continue with special schedules. The last departures to suburbs leave around 7 p.m.
  • Other lines do not operate after around 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10 (Kaukajärvi - Keskustori), 40, 50, 60, 70Y and 80Y will operate on special schedules from around 12 p.m. The last departures to suburbs leave around 5 p.m. Other lines do not operate on Christmas Day.

On Boxing Day, Sunday 26 December 2022, there will be normal Sunday schedules.

New Year, December 31, 2022 - January 1, 2023

On New Year's eve Nysse will serve with normal Saturday schedules. On New Year's Day, Nysse will serve with Sunday schedules.


Epiphany, January 6, 2023

Nysse serves with Sunday schedules. Lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70Y, 80B, 80Y also run Friday's night services.


Winter break for primary schools, February 27 - March 5, 2023

Bus lines 37, 37X, 39, 39A, 44, 44A, 44B, 46, 46J, 47, 49, 56U, 57U, 67 (part of the service), 75U, 85U, 86, 86X, 87U ja 96U will not operate.


Moving into daylight saving time, March 26, 2023

Clocks will be set forward by one hour early Sunday morning at 3 a.m. (to 4 a.m.). Trips between 3 a.m. and 4.15 a.m. will not be run. After this, the lines will operate normally according to the new summer time.


Easter, April 6-10, 2023

  • Maundy, Thursday, April 6, 2023: Lines 37, 37X, 46, 46J, 49, 56U, 57U, 67 (part of the service), 75U, 85U, 86, 86X and 87U will not operate. Other lines operate normally with everyday schedules.
  • Good Friday, 7 April 2023: Nysse will operate on Sunday schedules. Lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70Y, 80B and 80Y also run Friday's night services.
  • Saturday, April 8, 2023: Nysse will operate with normal Saturday schedules.
  • Sunday, April 9, 2023 (Easter Day 1): Nysse operates on Sunday schedules.
  • Monday, April 10, 2023 (Easter Day 2): Nysse operates on Sunday schedules.

First of May, April 30 - May 1, 2023

  • Sunday, April 30, 2023 (May Day Eve): Nysse operates on Saturday schedules.
  • Monday, May 1, 2023 (May Day): Nysse operates on Saturday schedules until late in the evening. The last departures to suburbs leave from the center of Tampere around midnight.

Ascension Day, May 18, 2023

Nysse serves with Sunday schedules.


Summer season from June 5, 2023

Decisions about the summer season 2023 service will be made at the end of 2022.
