Public holidays and events
Tuesday, April 30, 2024: Buses and trams operate by Friday schedules. This means that there is more night service for lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7Y, 8, 9, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70Y, 80B and 80Y compared to normal weekday.
Wednesday, May 1, 2024: Buses and trams operate by Saturday schedules until latenight. The last departures to suburbs leave from the center of Tampere around midnight.
On Ascension Day, Thursday May 9, 2024 we operate by Sunday timetables.
Timetables will be changed to meet the demand of summer season. There will be several changes in the routes and bus lines.
- The starting and ending stations of the tram lines in the center and the west will be reversed (1 Santalahti - Tays, 3 Sorin aukio - Hervanta).
- Route changes are planned for bus lines 6, 7, 11, 13, 15, 18, 26, 28, 29, 32, 34, 40B, 41, 45, 52, 71, 80, 84, 90 and 95. Bus lines 14 and 70Y will be discontinued and replaced by other lines.
- School bus lines 37, 39, 44, 46, 47, 49, 84A and 86 as well as line 58 are on summer break.
Bus lines 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 27, 30, 31, 33, 35, 36, 42, 50, 55, 73, 79, 91, 92, 93, and 94 do not change. The route of lines 48 and 77 will be shortened during the summer. 4, 45, 81, and 83 will start as new bus lines.
All lines operate on Sunday schedules on Midsummer's Eve, Friday June 21 until around 4 p.m. Some of the lines will continue the service through Midsummer as follows:
- Lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 50 and 60 will operate with Sunday timetables throughout Midsummer's Eve and on Midsummer's Day, June 22.
- Lines 4 Länsi-Hervanta - Keskustori, 40 Kangasala - Tampere, 70 Nokia - Tampere and 80Y Ylöjärvi - Tampere will continue with special timetables until the evening of Midsummer's Eve and the whole of Midsummer's Day on June 22, 2024.
