Service calendar
Summer 2025
The summer season starts on Monday, June 2, 2025, and ends on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Schedules will change to meet summer demand, and work and school commute lines will take a summer break. Only a few lines will have small permanent changes:
- Line 11's route will be extended in Pirkkala from Pere to Killo.
- Line 18 will operate less frequently on Saturdays.
- Line 27 will no longer operate on Saturdays.
- Line 29's route will be extended from Lamminrahka to Ojala.
- The new summer line 93C will start in Maisansalo.
- The service for Orivesi line 95KUTSU, will end.
- The new line 96 will start in Orivesi.
In the Nysse Journey Planner, you can search for trips and view stop schedules. Choose a date that falls within the summer season for your search.
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, we will operate according to the Friday schedule. This means that tram line 3 and bus lines 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 will have more late evening departures compared to a regular weekday.
Winter 2025-2026
The winter season starts on Monday, 4 August 2025, and ends on Sunday, 31 May 2026. There are no significant changes to the route network.
School buses 39, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49, 56, 57, 59, 76, 77, 77X, 78, 78X, 86, 86X, 97C, and 97D will begin operating only when the school year starts for basic education and upper secondary institutions. These routes do not operate during school holidays.
The entire route network will operate on a reduced service during the Christmas holiday period from 22 December 2025 to 6 January 2026.
Additional night services will operate on route 10 during the Festivaali event held in Pyynikki.
- The nearest stop to the event is Rosedahl 2006.
- The nearest stop towards the city center is Rosendahl 2007.
Hämeenkatu Appro will be celebrated in the center of Tampere. In this case, Nysse operates on Friday schedules. Compared to normal Thursdays, there is more night service on lines 2-10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80Y.
School routes are suspended in the following areas:
- Pirkkala: 39
- Kangasala: 43U, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49
- Lempäälä: 56, 57, 59, and 63
- Valkeakoski: 44, 63, and 66, as well as some departures on routes 67 and 69U
- Nokia: 77, 77X, 78, and 78X. The additional schoolday service on route 70 will not operate.
- Ylöjärvi: 86, 86X, and 87U. The additional schoolday service on route 85 will not operate.
Daylight saving time ends during the night between Saturday and Sunday, 26 October 2025, at 4:00 a.m. At that time, clocks are turned back one hour, from 4:00 to 3:00 a.m.
Tram line 3 will operate throughout the night. This means that services between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. will run twice:
- first according to daylight saving time
- then again according to standard time.
Buses 4–10, 40, 50, 70, and 80Y will operate their night services between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. only once, according to daylight saving time.
- They will not run again during the repeated 3:00–4:00 a.m. hour after the clock change.
- Morning services will begin as usual on Sunday at 4:00 a.m. (standard time).
We are operating according to the Saturday timetable. Route 97A in Orivesi will operate according to the Sunday timetable.
We are operating according to the Saturday timetable. Additionally, there are night trips available on lines 2-10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
Public transport services will be reduced during the Christmas holiday period for cost-saving reasons.
Services will be available on the following routes:
1–26, 29, 30, 40, 42, 50, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, and 90X.
- On weekdays, routes will operate with reduced frequency.
- On Fridays, night services will run on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
- On Saturdays, normal Saturday service will apply.
- On Sundays, normal Sunday service will apply.

The following bus routes will not operate: 27, 28, 31, 33, 34 (Tesoma – Lielahti section), 35, 41, 52, 55 (Vesilahti – Narva section), 72, 76, 79A, 90 (Eerolansuora/Aitolahdentie), 91, 92, 93, and 96.
School routes are also suspended:
- Pirkkala: 39
- Kangasala: 43U, 44, 46, 47, 48A, 48B, 48C, 48D, 49
- Lempäälä: 56, 57, 59, and 63
- Valkeakoski: 44, 63, and 66, as well as some departures on routes 67 and 69U
- Nokia: 77, 77X, 78, and 78X. The additional schoolday service on route 70 will not operate.

Christmas Eve: Wednesday 24 December
- Until approximately 16:00: Routes 1–26, 29, 30, 40, 42, 50, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, and 90X will operate according to the Sunday timetable.
- From approximately 16:00 onwards: Only routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y will continue to operate with adjusted service until around 20:00.
Christmas Day: Thursday 25 December
- Only routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y will operate with adjusted service between approximately 11:00 and 19:00.
Boxing Day: Friday 26 December
- Routes 1–26, 29, 30, 40, 42, 50, 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 80, 81, 82, 84, 85, and 90X will operate according to the Sunday timetable.
- Routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y will also operate night services.
Adjusted service means that timetables and routes are tailored to meet the day’s travel needs. Some routes will operate using quiet-period routing:
- Route 4: Länsi-Hervanta – Keskustori
- Route 40: Kangasala (town centre) – Tampere
- Route 70: Nokia (railway station) – Tampere
- Route 80Y: Kauraslampi – Ylöjärvi – Vuorentausta – Tampere
On New Year’s Eve, Wednesday 31 December 2025, weekday timetables will apply.
Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
On New Year’s Day, Thursday 1 January 2026, Sunday timetables will apply.
We are operating according to the Saturday timetable.

Daylight saving time begins early on Sunday, 29 March 2026. Clocks will be moved forward by one hour at 3:00 a.m., directly to 4:00 a.m.
- Tram line 3 will operate as normal during the early morning hours.
- Some early morning bus services may be cancelled. More detailed information will be published closer to the date.
Maundy Thursday: 2 April 2026
- School routes 39, 63, and 66 will not operate.
- Route 67 will operate only partially.
- Schoolday services on routes 70 and 85 will not run.
Good Friday: 3 April 2026
- Services will follow the Sunday timetable.
- Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
Saturday: 4 April 2026
Services will follow the Saturday timetable.
Easter Sunday and Easter Monday: Sunday 5 April and Monday 6 April
Services will follow the Sunday timetable.
May Day Eve: Thursday 30 April 2026
- Services will follow weekday timetables.
- Additional night services will operate on routes 2–10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80Y.
May Day: Friday 1 May 2026
